1. Unfolding and using storage cages
Two people are required to operate a folded storage cage. The process is: two people stand on both sides of the warehouse cage, first erect the front mesh, then erect the connected side mesh and rear mesh, reverse the two side meshes and insert them into the base of the warehouse cage, and pay attention to the connection with the front mesh. Finally, insert the bolt of the front mesh into the side mesh.
The four corners of the unfolded warehouse cage should be flat and symmetrical. If unevenness is found, do not use it. Check whether the mesh and bolt are inserted in place, otherwise careless use may cause accidents.
2. Place items
Open the bolt of the warehouse cage and lower the upper folding door to place items. However, when the outer dimensions of the warehouse cage are certain, the size and weight of the stored items depend on the specifications of the warehouse cage (steel wire thickness, bottom plate U-groove thickness and grid density).
Some objects that cannot be bruised or are easily scratched on the surface (such as some plastic parts, sheet metal parts after surface coating, etc.) can also be stored in the warehouse cage, but the inner wall of the warehouse cage must be added with a Wantong board or cardboard to protect the objects from damage.
When placing items in the warehouse cage, considering the size of the upper warehouse cage feet during stacking, the best height for storing items should be 3cm below the edge of the warehouse cage. It is strictly forbidden to store items above the edge of the warehouse cage, otherwise the forklift will damage the items in the warehouse cage below when moving the warehouse cage.
3. Storage cage handling
Storage cages must be handled by handling machinery. Machinery that can handle storage cages include forklifts (including counterbalanced weights and reach-type forklifts), hydraulic pallet trucks, storage cage trolleys, battery tractors, etc. In order to improve handling efficiency, two storage cages can be stacked together for handling, but when using this method to handle, attention must be paid to the load-bearing capacity of the handling machinery and the speed when turning. It is prohibited to stack three or more storage cages together for handling because it is too dangerous.
4. Storage cage stacking
Before stacking, it is necessary to check whether the bolt of the front mesh is inserted in place. When a storage cage is stacked on another storage cage, the four corners of the upper storage cage must be seated on the upper end of the side mesh of the lower storage cage, otherwise it must be stacked again. The number of layers of storage cage stacking is strictly implemented according to the sample instructions of four or three layers, and the load-bearing capacity of the site must also be paid attention to when stacking.
In the stacking state of the warehouse cage, the items stored in any layer of the warehouse cage can be taken at any time. Just open the upper half of the mesh in front of the warehouse cage to take it out, but pay attention to the storage state of the items in the cage when opening it to prevent the items from slipping.
5. Storage of empty storage cages
When the empty storage cage is folded for storage, the folding method is the reverse operation of the unfolding method. The folded storage cage can be stacked for storage. It should be noted that the stacking of the folded storage cage should be placed opposite to each other, not 90° cross-placed, and the stacking height should not exceed 1.2M. It should be packed with iron strapping to increase the safety of storage.
